Getting Started
To connect your YouTube channel, click "Sign up for free" or "Login" and sign in with your Google account. You must grant the requested permissions so we can read your comments and post replies on your behalf. Once connected, we'll automatically sync your videos and comments.
We require standard YouTube permissions to operate:
- Read Access: To view your videos, comments, and channel info.
- Write Access: To post the replies you approve (we never post automatically without your approval).
We use secure OAuth 2.0 authentication and never see or store your Google password.
The initial sync usually takes a few minutes. It depends on how many videos and comments you have. We fetch your most recent videos and their comments first. You'll see a progress indicator on your dashboard.
Features & AI
Our "Creator Profile" system analyzes your past replies to understand your unique tone, vocabulary, and communication style. It learns from your existing content to generate authentic-sounding drafts. As you edit and approve more replies, the AI continues to learn and improve its accuracy.
No but for complex reasoning, our Smart Context system analyzes your video's title, description, and content to provide accurate, context-aware answers.
For simple comments (like "Great video!" or emojis), the AI uses a lighter analysis to save you time and quota, classifying them as "Generic" or "Praise".
We fully support 22 languages, and our AI automatically detects the language of the video and comments. Supported languages include:
English, Spanish, German, French, Turkish, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Polish, Arabic, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Hindi, Greek, Czech, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Romanian, and Hebrew.
Our Smart Analyzer automatically identifies "simple" comments (like "First!", "Nice", or emoji-only comments). These are flagged differently so you can quickly like them or send a short thanks, preserving your advanced AI quota for the comments that really matter.
Yes, indirectly. We build a "Creator Profile" based on your past replies. If you edit the AI's drafts, it learns from those edits. While we don't have a manual "slider" for personality yet, the system naturally adapts to be more "you" the more you use it.
We use advanced Large Language Models (LLMs) from OpenAI, specifically fine-tuned for conversational context. We combine this with our proprietary "Context Engine" that feeds video metadata and channel history into the prompt to ensure accuracy.
Billing & Limits
To ensure platform safety and comply with YouTube API quotas, we have daily limits on posting replies directly from our dashboard:
- Free Plan: 2 replies/day
- Creator Plan: 30 replies/day
- Professional Plan: 50 replies/day
You can generate unlimited AI drafts and reply manually on YouTube if you exceed these limits.
Each plan has a monthly limit on how many new videos can be analyzed (e.g., 5 for Creator, 10 for Professional). If you reach this limit, we won't import new videos until your next billing cycle. You can upgrade your plan at any time to increase this limit immediately.
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial months.
We use Stripe for secure payment processing and accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) as well as some local payment methods depending on your region.
Troubleshooting
We sync comments hourly. If you don't see recent comments:
- Wait for the next hourly sync cycle.
- Check if you've reached the comment limit for that specific video (e.g., 1,000 comments/video on Creator plan).
- Ensure your YouTube channel connection is still active in your settings.
This usually happens if you've reached your daily API reply limit (see Billing & Limits) or if your YouTube channel token has expired. Try reconnecting your channel from the settings page.
You can delete your account and all associated data from your Profile settings. Warning: This is permanent. We delete all your analyzed data, creator profiles, and sync history immediately. Please export any important data before doing so.
Currently, each engage suite account is linked to a single YouTube channel. To manage multiple channels, you will need to create separate accounts for each channel. We are working on multi-channel support for future updates.
Yes! Comments on YouTube Shorts are treated just like regular video comments in our system. We sync them, analyze sentiment, and generate AI replies for them seamlessly.
No. engage suite is a cloud-based service. Once you connect your channel, we automatically sync and analyze comments in the background every hour, even if you are offline. You can log in whenever you want to review and reply.
Privacy & Security
We use industry-standard security practices including OAuth 2.0 authentication, encrypted data transmission, and secure data storage. We never store your password and only access your YouTube data with your explicit permission. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
No. Never. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or your audience's data to third parties. Your data is used strictly to provide the engage suite service to you. Our business model is based on subscriptions, not ad revenue.
If you delete your account, we immediately delete your access tokens and all synced data from our active database. If you simply stop paying but keep your account, we retain data for a limited time to allow for reactivation, in accordance with our data retention policy.
